A housing arrangement that an individual has selected to meet their specific needs

Residential Rehabilitation
First Avenue – Kyeta Place is a residential apartment setting for adults who have a mental illness and a goal of independent living

Transitional Living
Provides daily support to persons so they can successfully make the transition from intensive housing supports to successful interdependent community living

Supported Independent Living
For individuals receiving a housing subsidy and for those who require day-to-day support along with a housing subsidy

Programs

Employment Readiness
Our STEP program is designed for people who want to join the workforce but have difficulty doing so because of their mental illness

Peer Support
A distinctive training course for individuals living with a mental illness and are at a place where they are able and willing to share their insights with another individual who has a mental illness

 

The Road to Recovery

Communitas Mental Health Programs support individuals who have a diagnosed mental illness. Our Mental Health sector provides a wide range of services to meet the needs of those who are at different places on their road to recovery.

Our principles of service are built on the philosophy of psychosocial rehabilitation, respect and appreciation for all.
